The Navay_e Iran singers group was formed in 2020 by the Iranian Choir of Vancouver by the start of the COVID pandemic.
From the beginning, the group’s instructor, Ms. Maryam Soroushnasab, started online practices with senior women interested in singing.
This group has continued its activities to this day with the support of the New Horizons grant. The result of these classes has been the production of seven video clips.
The group’s concert will also be held on February 28, 2025, at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam.
